Perdue foods is recalling more than 167,000 pounds of frozen chicken nuggets and tenders after some customers reported finding metal wire embedded in the products. American meat processor tyson foods says it is recalling around 30,000lb (13,608kg) of chicken nuggets, after metal pieces were found in the product.

The problem was discovered after tyson foods notified fsis that it had received consumer complaints reporting small metal pieces in the chicken patty product. The recalled products are marked with a “best if used by” date of sep 04, 2024;
